J. Russell Lipford, Jr., a Macon native, has been employed by CLHP, f/k/a Truman Clifton & Company, since he started his public accounting career in 1969, and has remained a vital part of the CLHP foundation ever since.

Russell's diverse experience ranges from work with  individuals, businesses, and governments has resulted in his specializations in estate planning, business planning, and corporate mergers and acquisitions.  His experience also includes serving in expert witness and/or consulting engagements on business formation and capitalization concerns.

Auditing has always remaining a major component of Russell's accounting practice and has provided him with experience in retail, wholesale, manufacturing and distribution, construction, clergy, governmental, not-for-profit, hotels & hospitality, and many other areas.
